Apple oats smoothie, a simple, quick, and healthy smoothie. This is an ideal smoothie for breakfast. Healthy & filling smoothie, with the goodness of apple, oats, dates, and milk.

Furthermore, oats are rich in fiber. Thus helps in digestion. Also, add your choice of milk. Either dietary milk or plant-based milk like almond milk, coconut milk, soy milk, etc. Finally, add a dash of cinnamon powder or cardamom powder for a nice flavor.  Moreover apple, oats, cinnamon, all these go well for breakfast. This is a perfect smoothie that comes under 300 calories and also helps in weight loss.

What is a smoothie?

A smoothie or smoothie is a drink made from pureed raw fruit and/or vegetables, using a blender. A smoothie often has a liquid base such as fruit juice, dairy products, such as milk, yogurt, ice cream or cottage cheese.

Research has found that in outpatient medically-monitored programs, meal replacements in liquid form, such as protein-fruit-vegetable shakes, are beneficial for weight loss. They are quick and simple and may replace a true junk food breakfast.

Most importantly, you can replace one meal with this healthy smoothie. It’s very nutritious and feels like a full meal. Dates & apples add up the sweetness to the smoothie. If you want more sweetness in this smoothie, add natural sweeteners like honey or maple syrup. Here I have used 4 to 6 pitted dates for extra sweetness.

Instructions

    Firstly, in a bowl add 3 tbsp instant oats, 4 to 5 deseeded dates, 1 cup apple (peeled & sliced) & 1 cup milk (boiled & cooled).

    Close the bowl & allow it to soak for 5 to 10 minutes.

    Add this mixture into a blender or mixie jar.

  4. 4

    Blend this mixture to a fine paste. (finally, add a dash of cinnamon/cardamom powder of your choice.)

    Transfer this blended mixture to a glass jar.

    Now the healthy & nutritious apple oats smoothie is ready to enjoy.
