Ingredients
1/2 cup Cabbage(thinly sliced)
1/4 cup Carrot (thinly sliced)
1/4 cup Capsicum (thinly sliced)
5 to 6 Pieces of Tomato (Optional)
3 to 4 tbsp Mayonnaise
1/4 cup Cooked Chicken Pieces
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper Powder
4-6 Bread Slices
1 to 2 tsp Butter or Oil
Directions
- Prep up everything before you start with preparing the sandwiches. Cut the veggies thinly.
- Cook 1/4 cup of chicken pieces along with salt and pepper. Then crush the chicken pieces along with 1 tbsp mayonnaise and keep it aside.
- Now add 1/2 cup Cabbage(thinly sliced), 1/4 cup Carrot (thinly sliced), and 1/4 cup Capsicum (thinly sliced) in a mixing bowl.
- Add salt as required and 1/2 tsp pepper powder. Mix well and add 3 to 4 tbsp mayonnaise. (adjust the veggies and amount of mayonnaise-based on your taste preference)
- Add the crushed chicken pieces into this veg mix and mix it well.
- The filling is ready. Let us toast the slices of bread.
- Heat 1 to 2 tsp oil/butter in a pan. Add the bread pieces, flip and toast both sides.
- Remove from the pan and start adding the filling based on your taste.
- Spread the filling over the bread pieces and cover it with another slice of bread toast.
- Cut and serve. Our chicken mayonnaise sandwich is ready.
