Be it a wedding/ deepavali or any joyous occasions, there is no celebration without gulab jamuns in Indian households. The best are made with khoya, but there are alternatives like bread which do come to rescue if you do not get khoya or mawa. However you cannot compare them with the taste of traditional ones.

How to prepare bread gulab jamun?

Bread Gulab Jamun | Instant Jamun Recipe Using Bread | with step by step photos and video. This recipe is too simple & easy to prepare. Pieces of breads are powdered to breadcrumbs which is then mixed with milk. The amount of milk can vary from 5 tbsp to 1/2 cup based on the thickness and size of bread you using. Further they are deep fried in ghee/oil and soaked in sugar syrup. This tastes more like a bread pudding.

You can serve bread gulab jamuns as a dessert after meal. While serving garnish with some sliced pistachios or almonds.
