Watermelon is a delicious and refreshing fruit that’s also good for you. It contains only 46 calories per cup but is high in vitamin C, vitamin A and many healthy plant compounds. Similarly Lemons and lemon juice are an excellent source of the antioxidant vitamin C.

Watermelon meets lemonade in this refreshing watermelonade recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2cups of watermelon sliced

  • 1/4cup of strained lemon juice

  • 1cup of water

  • 2tbsp sugar(optional)

  • Ice cubes(optional)

Directions

  • In a blender add 2cup of watermelon slices, 1/4cup strained lemon juice, 1cup water, and 2tbsp sugar(optional).
  • Blend for 2 minutes.
  • Strain the juice & serve with ice cubes.

Notes

  • Sugar is completely optional.
  • Instead of sugar you can prefer honey.
