I removed the outer skin of the raw plantains. However, some people like to cook it with the skin. Let&#8217;s see the recipe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u0ba4\u0bc7\u0bb5\u0bc8\u0baf\u0bbe\u0ba9 \u0baa\u0bca\u0bb0\u0bc1\u0b9f\u0bcd\u0b95\u0bb3\u0bcd :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>2 big raw plantain<\/li><li>1\/4 \u0ba4\u0bc7\u0b95\u0bcd\u0b95\u0bb0\u0ba3\u0bcd\u0b9f\u0bbf \u0bae\u0b9e\u0bcd\u0b9a\u0bb3\u0bcd \u0ba4\u0bc2\u0bb3\u0bcd <\/li><li>5 or 6 nos diced shallots  <\/li><li>4 pods minced\/crushed garlic<\/li><li>1 tsp red chilly flakes  <\/li><li>1\/2 tsp red chilly powder <\/li><li>1\/4 tsp black pepper powder <\/li><li>a sprig of curry Leaves<\/li><li>1 tbsp + 1 tsp coconut oil <\/li><li>1\/4 tsp mustard seeds <\/li><li>\u0b89\u0baa\u0bcd\u0baa\u0bc1 - \u0ba4\u0bc7\u0bb5\u0bc8\u0baf\u0bbe\u0ba9 \u0b85\u0bb3\u0bb5\u0bc1<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u0b9a\u0bc6\u0baf\u0bcd\u0bae\u0bc1\u0bb1\u0bc8 :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Trim the edges and lightly peel the thick outer skin of the plantain. <\/li><li>Dice it into small cubes. Soak it in water for five minutes and then wash it in several changes of water. This will remove the stickiness.<\/li><li>Boil the plantain pieces in plenty of water along with 1\/4 tsp turmeric powder and salt to taste until soft. It may take 7-8 minutes for the pieces to get cooked. <\/li><li>Drain excess water and keep it aside. (You can also cover and cook the plantain with very little water but it may end up mushy. I prefer boiling it in plenty of water and then draining it.)<\/li><li>Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds. <\/li><li>Saute shallots, curry leaves, and garlic until the shallots begin to lightly brown.<\/li><li>Add the cooked plantain pieces to the skillet. Followed by 1\/2 tsp red chilly powder, 1 tsp red chilly flakes &amp; salt as required. Mix everything and then spread it out as much as possible.<\/li><li>Allow the plantain pieces to lightly brown on the edges, stirring occasionally. <\/li><li>Add 1\/4 tsp black pepper powder and give it a nice mix.<\/li><li>Finally, drizzle 1 tsp of coconut oil to coat the pieces. <\/li><li>Remove from heat and serve with rice.<\/li><\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Raw Banana | Plantain Stir Fry.
