Yes, mushrooms are packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. They\u2019re full of \u00a0B vitamins, riboflavin, niacin, and pantothenic acid, which all \u201chelp protect heart health<\/a>.\u201d A fantastic source of potassium, which improves \u201cheart, muscle, and nerve function.\u201d Moreover, they\u2019re also low-carb, keto-friendly, low in calories and have some protein and fibre.<\/p>\n\n\n

How long should we cook mushroom?<\/h2>\n\n\n

When the oil or melted butter is hot, add the mushrooms. You should hear a sizzle. In the beginning stages of cooking, the mushrooms will release moisture, and a sizzling sound will occur. Browning will begin after the moisture is released so be sure to stir them frequently during this time. Once mushrooms are\u00a0lightly crisped and browned around the edges, they are ready to serve. Cook the mushrooms\u00a08 to 10 minutes\u00a0or until they’re tender and lightly browned. Make sure not to overcook them.<\/p>\n\n\n

Ingredients<\/h3>
  • <\/span>

    250 gm Button Mushroom(Cleaned & sliced)<\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • <\/span>

    11\/2 tbsp Butter<\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • <\/span>

    1 tbsp Minced Garlic<\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • <\/span>

    2 tbsp Onion<\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • <\/span>

    1 Green Chilly (optional)<\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • <\/span>

    Curry Leaves<\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • <\/span>

    1\/2 tsp Turmeric Powder<\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • <\/span>

    Salt as needed<\/span><\/p><\/li>

    1\/8 tsp Garam Masala<\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • <\/span>

    1 tsp Crushed Pepper Corns<\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/div>

    Directions<\/h3>
    • Firstly, clean and get the dirt off the mushrooms.<\/li>
    • Then cut them into small pieces & keep them aside.<\/li>
    • Now heat a kadai or pan and add 11\/2 tbsp unsalted butter.\"Garlic<\/li>
    • Once the butter is melted, add 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic & saute until it’s aromatic.\"Garlic<\/li>
    • Further, add in 2 tbsp finely chopped onion and green chillies. Add more or less green chillies based on your spice level.\"Garlic\"Garlic<\/li>
    • Saute for 1 minute & add in the chopped mushrooms.\"Garlic<\/li>
    • Add some curry leaves, 1\/2 tsp Turmeric Powder and salt as needed. Mix them well.\"Garlic\"Garlic<\/li>
    • Cover & cook for 5 minutes over a medium flame.\"Garlic<\/li>
    • Water is released from the mushrooms.\"Garlic<\/li>
    • Mix & further cover and cook for another 3 to 5 minutes. The water starts to dry off.<\/li>
    • At this stage add 1\/8 tsp garam masala, and 1 tsp crushed pepper corns. Now turn the flame to high.\"Garlic<\/li>
    • Give a nice mix & roast until the water is dried up completely.\"Garlic<\/li>
    • Make sure the water is dried up before switching off the flame.<\/li>
    • Switch off the flame & add some coriander leaves. Serve hot with hot boiled rice.\"Garlic\"Garlic<\/li><\/ul><\/div>
