We marinate the pork &amp; cook it in a pressure cooker. Meanwhile, we start making the biryani masala. Furthermore, add a layer of rice followed by pork masala &amp; repeat layering rice &amp; masala. id=\"wpzoom-rcb-direction-step-14\" class=\"direction-step\">Wash 500gm pork in white vinegar &amp; clean it well.<\/li><li id=\"wpzoom-rcb-direction-step-64\" class=\"direction-step\">For marinating the cleaned pork, add 1.5tsp ginger paste&amp; 1tsp garlic paste followed by 4 to 5 finely chopped green chillies.<\/li><li id=\"wpzoom-rcb-direction-step-190\" class=\"direction-step\">Then add in spices one by one : 1\/2tsp turmeric powder, 2tsp red chilly powder, 1.5tsp coriander powder, salt as required, 2tsp white vinegar, &amp; \u00bd tsp garam masala.<\/li><li id=\"wpzoom-rcb-direction-step-355\" class=\"direction-step\">Mix well &amp; keep it aside.<\/li><li id=\"wpzoom-rcb-direction-step-381\" class=\"direction-step\">Let it sit for 10 to 15min<\/li><li id=\"wpzoom-rcb-direction-step-408\" class=\"direction-step\">Then transfer the marinated pork into a cooker &amp; add 1\/2cup of water.<\/li><li id=\"wpzoom-rcb-direction-step-478\" class=\"direction-step\">Pressure cook the pork for 1 whistle in high flame &amp; 10 to 15 min in low flame.<\/li><li id=\"wpzoom-rcb-direction-step-558\" class=\"direction-step\">Once done, wait till the pressure is released from the cooker.<\/li><li id=\"wpzoom-rcb-direction-step-622\" class=\"direction-step direction-step-group\"><strong class=\"direction-step-group-title\">Pork Masala<\/strong><\/li><li id=\"wpzoom-rcb-direction-step-637\" class=\"direction-step\">While waiting for pork to be cooked, let us make the masala needed for pork biryani.<\/li><li id=\"wpzoom-rcb-direction-step-722\" class=\"direction-step\">Heat a pan &amp; add 1-1.5tsp coconut oil.<\/li><li id=\"wpzoom-rcb-direction-step-761\" class=\"direction-step\">Add 2 cups of thinly sliced onions. Add 1\/4tsp salt &amp; mix well until onion turns translucent.[Be careful while adding salt. We have already  added salt to pork while cooking. So add salt only for the gravy.]<\/li><li id=\"wpzoom-rcb-direction-step-969\" class=\"direction-step\">Now add in 1tsp ginger garlic paste &amp; saute till the raw smell goes.<\/li><li id=\"wpzoom-rcb-direction-step-1038\" class=\"direction-step\">Saute till  onion turns into golden brown color.<\/li><li id=\"wpzoom-rcb-direction-step-1087\" class=\"direction-step\">Now low the flame &amp; start adding the spices one by one: 1\/2tsp turmeric powder, 1tsp chilly powder &amp; 1tsp coriander powder.<\/li><li id=\"wpzoom-rcb-direction-step-1211\" class=\"direction-step\">Fry the spices for sometime &amp; add 1\/2tsp garam masala.<\/li><li id=\"wpzoom-rcb-direction-step-1266\" class=\"direction-step\">Now again fry the spices, till raw smell goes.<\/li><li id=\"wpzoom-rcb-direction-step-1313\" class=\"direction-step\">Once done, add in 1 big tomato finely chopped. Cover &amp; cook till it turns mushy.<\/li><li id=\"wpzoom-rcb-direction-step-1394\" class=\"direction-step\">Now add in the cooked pork into the masala mix.<\/li><li id=\"wpzoom-rcb-direction-step-1442\" class=\"direction-step\">Mix well &amp; cook the pork in this masala till it absorbs all the spices.<\/li><li id=\"wpzoom-rcb-direction-step-1514\" class=\"direction-step\">Let it cook for 10 to 15min.<\/li><li id=\"wpzoom-rcb-direction-step-1543\" class=\"direction-step\">Once done add 2 to 3sprigs of finely chopped coriander leaves to the pork masala &amp; mix well.<\/li><li id=\"wpzoom-rcb-direction-step-1636\" class=\"direction-step\">If you want pork masala with gravy switch off the flame now.<\/li><li id=\"wpzoom-rcb-direction-step-1697\" class=\"direction-step\">am going to make this gravy thick by cooking it for 10 more minutes.<\/li><li id=\"wpzoom-rcb-direction-step-1766\" class=\"direction-step\">Now thick pork masala is ready.<\/li><li id=\"wpzoom-rcb-direction-step-1799\" class=\"direction-step direction-step-group\"><strong class=\"direction-step-group-title\">For Dum Biryani<\/strong><\/li><li id=\"wpzoom-rcb-direction-step-1818\" class=\"direction-step\">I had already cooked 2.5 cups of basmati rice by draining off the excess water from rice. I had cooked rice to 90% only.
